Over the last decade in the fitness industry, I’ve helped hundreds of women achieve their fitness goals. Through Laura’s Academy I can’t wait to help you achieve yours.
“You’re a size 10, you don’t understand”.
I hear this almost weekly.
But I do understand. Oh I understand.
I understand how hard it is to motivate yourself to step out the house to an exercise class you really don’t want to go too.
I understand the fear.
What will people think of me?
Will people be talking about me?
What if I look stupid?
What if I just can’t do it?
I understand so much, that it’s why I started my business.
10 years ago I was a very unhappy, self conscious, size 16 with no energy.
I was a 21 year old who was deeply upset about the way I looked.
I knew I had to change, and that the only person who could do it, was me.
I took baby steps to become fitter and healthier. I exercised, I went to thy gym, I worked hard. And it worked. But it was tough, I was doing it alone, and it certainly wasn’t fun!
But it got me thinking.
Wouldn’t it be great if exercise was fun. If women didn’t think about exercise as punishment.
3 years later, I launched Laura’s fitness.
My mission was clear.
I wanted women to feel excited when they had one of my classes in their diary (rather than think of excuses not to come).
I wanted to motivate people and to create a safe space where no one worries about what they look like. Where they could work towards their goal, whatever it is and however long it takes.
Because great things don’t happen overnight.
When you’re ready to start your journey my door is open and my classes are waiting.
Even more importantly, me (and my fabulous community of ladies are ready to welcome you) – because we all really do understand.
